I'm Jocelyn 'Dr. Mac" McDonald, Ph.D., an experienced educator, digital leader, published author, podcaster, and passionate advocate for driving student success. With over 17 years of experience in education, I have dedicated my career to empowering educators with the knowledge and skills they need to positively impact the classroom and leadership practices.

I believe that educators have valuable insights and experiences to share with the wider educational community. Through my online courses, AccessGroup, books, and podcasts, I aim to provide a comprehensive and transformative learning experience for teachers and leaders at all stages of their careers.

I also specialize in helping educators amplify their voices and get published. I am committed to guiding you through turning your ideas and expertise into published works. MY STORY

I am a proud mother of two, and my journey into the field of education began as a passionate chemistry teacher. Armed with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, I embarked on a mission to inspire young minds and ignite a love for science in my students. As I delved deeper into the world of education, I realized the transformative power of technology in enhancing instructional practices and engaging learners.

Driven by my desire to make a lasting impact in the field of education, I pursued a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, specializing in Instructional Technology. This advanced degree allowed me to explore innovative teaching methods and leverage technology to create dynamic and interactive learning experiences for my students.

Eager to further expand my knowledge and expertise, I went on to earn a Ph.D. in Educational Technology. This doctoral journey deepened my understanding of the intersection between technology and education, equipping me with the skills to design and implement effective educational strategies that harness the full potential of digital tools.

Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to witness the transformative power of education firsthand. From inspiring students to pursue careers in science to empowering fellow educators with the tools and knowledge they need to excel, my passion for education continues to fuel my drive to make a difference.
